Current Card requires no account and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or third-party runtime SDKs.
Information stored on your device
Current Card stores your current card text, theme, timestamps, and a local card archive on your device. The app and its Widget extension use an Apple App Group to show the same current card in the app, on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, and StandBy.
Completed or replaced cards may remain in the local card archive for recent restore, data migration, and future compatibility. Public version 1.0 does not provide a history browser. This local archive is not sent to the operator.
Keep in sight and system surfaces
If you choose Keep in sight, the current card text is placed in an Apple Live Activity. The operating system may show it on system-owned surfaces such as the Dynamic Island, Lock Screen, StandBy, Always-On display, or compatible paired Apple devices.
Someone who can see those surfaces may also see the card text. You can stop the Live Activity from Current Card. Please avoid putting sensitive information in a card that you choose to keep in sight.
Data collection and tracking
Current Card does not collect data through the app and does not track you across apps or websites. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or third-party network SDK.
Apple may process App Store distribution, diagnostics, or feedback under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. That processing is separate from the card content stored locally by Current Card.
Optional support email
Email support is optional and separate from the app. If you contact us, your email provider processes the message and we use it only to respond to your request. Do not include card text, private notifications, account details, or unredacted screenshots.
Retention and deletion
Current card and archive data remain in the app’s local container until changed through app use or removed with the app and its associated data, subject to iOS behavior. Current Card has no server copy and no account-based deletion process because the operator does not receive your card data.
Changes to this policy
If Current Card later adds networking, cloud sync, accounts, analytics, third-party SDKs, or materially different data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be reviewed and updated before release.
