Current Card Support
Set up a quick way to write from Control Center or the Action button, or get in touch below.
Put Current Card within easy reach. Choose an entry below and set it up in three steps.

On a Face ID iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner. With a Home button, swipe up from the bottom. Requires iOS 18 or later.
In Control Center, tap + at the top left, then Add a Control.
Search for Current Card and add the Write one thing control.
Leave editing mode, then tap your new control to open Current Card. Write your thought and confirm it in the app.
For iPhone models with an Action button. If your iPhone has a Ring/Silent switch, use Control Center instead.
Open Settings → Action Button. Swipe until you reach Shortcut.
Tap Choose a Shortcut. Find Current Card, then choose Capture Current Card.
Press and hold the Action button to open Current Card. Write one thing, then confirm it in the app.
Update and open Current Card once, then return to the control gallery or shortcut picker and search again. These two entry points use different names, shown in the steps above.
iOS may require you to unlock before opening the app. Unlock your iPhone, then continue writing in Current Card.

Buttons and simple gestures lead to the same actions. New 1.1.5 options below are marked as previews.
For a Home Screen widget, touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Edit → Add Widget, then Current Card. Create a card in the app first. For temporary Live Activity display, tap Keep in sight; Stop showing ends that display while keeping the card in Now. iOS controls availability and duration.
Tap the current card to edit. Scroll long text normally without holding. To let go, tap Let go, or hold the card, slide up and release. Let go clears Now and the visible system surfaces; it does not mean the thought was completed.
Enable Card Trail in Settings, then swipe left or right in the card area. Tap a past card to turn it over and add an optional phrase or photo. The three most recent cards are free; Pro opens the complete trail.
1.1.5 preview: choose Bring back to Now on a past card to return it to the current position. If another card is there, it is let go first. Your past card keeps its theme and back.
Open Themes beside Settings, or from Settings. Choose a collection, then a theme. Your choice applies to the next card; existing cards keep their saved theme. Moss, Sakura and Dusk remain free.

The app must stay in the foreground. A card back or photo remains static; rotating the ordinary card view does not require Pro.
